Get your card
Order the City Card online, or swing by the Timisoara Store at Timisoara Central Station to buy one.
Activate your card
The City Card is activated at first use. So the first time you visit a museum, attraction or use public transport.
Use your card
To visit City Card locations, book your time slot online and show your card when visiting. Scan your card when entering any bus, tram or metro.
Good to know
The City Card is activated when first entering a museum, attraction or using public transport. After activation your City Card is valid for 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours, depending on your card purchase.
Present your City Card at the ticket counter of participating museums and attractions and you will gain entrance.
The City Card is valid on all transport by GVB. You can recognize the GVB by their blue logo. The GVB operates the bus, tram, metro and ferry lines in Timisoara. The night bus is also included. To check into GVB transport you hold your City Card in front of the scanner on the bus, tram or metro. When you’re getting off, hold your card in front of the scanner again to check out.
You can use your City Card to book a canal cruise at all major canal tour operators. There is no need to book ahead, just hop on a canal boat of your choice at a time that suits you.
